This page is used to manage (add, edit or delete) data sources which select photos from Flickr.
On this page administrator can
- Create a new data source using "New" button.
- Edit an existing data source by clicking it's name or by selecting checkbox at left of appropriate data source and clicking "Edit" button.
- Remove data sources by selecting checkbox at left of appropriate data sources and clicking "Delete" button.
Create/edit data source
The following parameters can be defined for data source:
- ID is record number in the database. It is used by "ARI Smart Content" applications to select data source(s) which will be used.
- Name is a name of the data source.
- Description is a description of the data source.
- Account is a Flickr API key which will be used by the data source to connect to Flickr. If the parameter is set to "- Default -" then default API key, which is defined on Accounts page, will be used.
- Source is used to specify the location of Flickr images which your want to load. It is possible to load images from the following locations:
- Collections is used to load images from Flickr collections. The following parameters should be specified:
- User ID is ID of Flickr user who is owned of collections which will be shown. Flickr user ID looks like 12345678@N00
- Collection ID is collection ID(s) where located photos which will be loaded. If want to specify several collections, separate IDs by semicolon (;). Collection ID looks like 12345678901234567
- Groups is used to load images from Flickr groups. The following parameters should be specified:
- Group ID is group ID(s) where located photos which will be loaded. If want to specify several groups, separate IDs by semicolon (;). Group ID looks like 12345678@N00
- Photosets is used to load images from Flickr photosets. The following parameters should be specified:
- Photoset ID is photoset ID(s) where located photos which will be loaded. If want to specify several photosets, separate IDs by semicolon (;). Photoset ID looks like 12345678901234567
- User photosets is used to load images from photosets of the selected Flickr user(s). The following parameters should be specified:
- User ID is Flickr user ID(s). Photos from photosets of the selected user(s) will be loaded. If want to specify several users, separate IDs by semicolon (;). User ID looks like 12345678@N00
- Recent users photos is used to select recently uploaded photos by the selected user(s). The following parameters should be specified:
- User ID is Flickr user ID(s). Recently upload photos by the selected user(s) will be loaded. If want to specify several users, separate IDs by semicolon (;). User ID looks like 12345678@N00
- Cache time is a duration in seconds during which the extension will use cached data instead of requesting it from Flickr service. If you don't want to use cache, set this parameter to 0 or leave empty, however we don't recommend it.
- Image size is used to specify images with what size should be selected.
- Thumbnail size is used to specify images with what size will be selected for thumbnails. If the parameter is set to "- None -", the data source will not contain thumbnails.
- Navigation size is used to specify images with what size will be selected for navigation thumbnails (thumbnails which are used in navigation controls in sliders, scrollers and other extensions). If the parameter is set to "- None -", the data source will not contain navigation thumbnails.
- Image count is used to limit number of images which will be selected. If the parameter is set to 0, all images will be selected. This limit will be used for each photoset (collection, group) one by one.
- Random is used to select images in random order.
