I want to zoom or magnify the main image in a K2 item (item.php), using Joomla 3.2.x

I found this post: www.ari-soft.com/ARI-Zoom/14753-ARI-ZOOM-with-K2-Images.html, noticing that it must be possible, but people are struggling with it and you solved it for them. Unfortunately the solution is not given in the post.

I managed to magnify an image in a normal Joomla article, but can't get it to work in a K2 item. No image shows up, only the plugincode {arimagnify.....}
Can anyone help me?
