Dynamically change image path 12 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

Thanks for this awesome tool!
I'd like to know whether we can dynamically change the image path used by the module. I'm working on some component and I'd like to have the slider showing different images depending on some component parameters. So is there a way I can set some variable to change the module image path?

Any tip would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ninnell

PS: I know I can have several instances of the module and link them to menu items. Unfortunately, that won't work in my situation.

Hello,

You can use "Modules Anywhere" plugin that load "ARI Image Slider" module and override plugin parameters. More information can be found here.

Thanks for your helpful reply. This is indeed what I need. I just need to get it to work now. For some reasons, the module loads the images but not the animation.

I've seen on other posts that Joomla! core plugin LoadModule should be used to load both CSS and js. But I can't get it to work. It is probably due to the fact I am not including the module into a "content" but into a home-made component?

Would you have any ideas abt how to fix that?

Thanks

"Modules Anywhere" plugin doesn't load javascript and CSS files includes which are added through Joomla! API if it is used that load a module not in article.

Errr, sorry I don't understand what you mean...

I understand moduleAnywhere does not load JS and CSS. Thus, the Slider module cannot work. Is there any work-around?

"Modules Anywhere" plugin doesn't load necessary javascript and CSS files when it is used not in articles.
