I'm using the paid 1.8.7 version and I'm having this problem: on mobile devices (phones), when viewing an image I can't close it by tapping outside of it, but if I change to desktop view (on the mobile browser), the problem goes away. I've tried this with Chrome, Opera, Edge, Firefox (mobile variants).
And yes, the "Close the lightbox when click outside of the content." option is activated.
But on the 1.7.6 version, this problem is not present, everything works as it should, always, mobile or desktop.
Also, I've tried disabling all of my plugins, the problem persisted.

Any chance to have this issue solved ? I'm staying with 1.8.7 so that you can see the problem, but if you can't solve it, at least tell me, so that I'll switch back to 1.7.6.

Open "ARI Fancy Lightbox -> Settings -> Advanced" page and populate "Custom JS code" parameter with the following code:
$.fancybox.defaults.mobile.clickSlide = 'close';
