So is the "DataTable" plugin also being updated or do I have to buy the "Smart Content" plugin?

And regarding the "Smart Content": As far as I can see it consists of many different plugins.

1) Can I install them invididually or is it one "package"?

2) Will the "DataTables" plugin which is part of "Smart Content" upgrade the standalone version of "DataTables"? (i.e. the settings are kept).

Hello,

1. Component installator asks which add-ons you want to install with "ARI Smart Content" component.

2. No, it doesn't update "ARI Data Tables" modules.

is there any update on this? It would be a major undertaking to move to smart content. It would seem if plugin is already functional for smart content then, it would not be that complex to add to datatables. thanks for any assistance.

"ARI Smart Content" doesn't contain a copy of "ARI Data Tables". It uses own version of "DataTable" add-on.
