The export features (pdf, excel, print) are very handy, however they rely on Adobe Flash, which is becoming increasingly rare. Afaik no modern browser has "Flash" enabled by default.

So I was wondering if there is a better solution on the horizon? I would even purchase the plugin a second time for that.

We are going to replace a Flash solution for "DataTable" add-on from "ARI Smart Content" component.

Do you have any timeline when this will be implemented? I have a customer that relies on this piece and is finding issues with the Flash piece as well.

So will this be part of the standalone version of "ARI Data Tables" as well or to I have to own "ARI Smart Content"?

Hello,

Sorry, forgot to notify earlier. "DataTable" widget from "ARI Smart Content" v. 2.3.0 uses HTML5 features instead of Flash to generate CSV, PDF, XLS files.
