Could you provide a link to a page where we can see a carousel and a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate an issue?

Hi
Here is a link, Click Here. I am not sure about the Joomla backend access, can you look at the source code first. This is with the carousel looking at the thumbnail folder, do you want me to change and use the folder with the main images?

According to your module settings, it is nothing to show into a lightbox. Lightbox integration makes sense if thumbnails are shown into a carousel (for this set "Use thumbnails" parameter to "Yes", specify thumbnails with and/or height in with help "Thumbnail width" and "Thumbnail height" parameters and the module generated thumbnails automatically or specify path to thumbnails in "Thumbnails path" parameter) or carousel images are linked to external pages in a INI file.
