Hi,

Trying to setup Zap but when I go to test ConvertKit I get this message...

Required fields without a value
Email
Optional fields without a value
First Name

Any ideas?

Hello,

You can ignore this messages if it appears during Zapier Webhook validation (when "Test" button is clicked on "Zapier" tab on CF7 form edit page). In this case the plugin sends all form fields to Webhook with empty values, just to have ability use them in other Zap steps. When form will be submitted on frontend, these fields will contain values which are populated by user.

Hi Admin. The «hack» you suggest only works if the steps are not used to validate subsequent actions – e.g. to fetch Custom Values zapier.com/help/using-custom-values-dropdown/

Now I have to add a placeholder string to the names, which seems pointless.

Do you want to populate fields with values manually before it will be sent to Zapier to validate Webhook?
