I have just purchased ARI Smart Content: DataTable Pack.

My table comes from a CSV file and I this is as far as I have been able to go

{arijdatatable} {aricsvtable file="Baltimore.csv"} {/aricsvtable} {/arijdatatable}

That gives me a start (see attached image) but now I am stuck.

Apart from a few unexplained examples following the links at www.ari-soft.com/vmchk/Joomla-Components/ARI-Smart-Content-DataTable-Pack/Detailed-product-flyer.html I cannot find any intelligible documentation. Please tell me that there is some (and how to find it).

You make it sound like there are lots of plugins and that they can be combined but I am not finding that.
