The packages mod_aridatatables.zip and plg_content_aridatatables.zip installed ok, but plg_system_ariextensions.zip is failing with error:
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
The files in the package are:
ariextensions.php
ariextensions.xml
index.html
script.php
and language folder.
What do you think the problem might be?

"System - ARI Extensions" plugin is required only for Joomla! 1.6 (this fact is specified in readme.txt file from package archive).

I am having the same issue:

only this file: plg_system_ariextensions.zip

Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
