Hello. We have enabled browser and system caching in our Joomla 1.5 site, catamaranguru.com, but the ARI slider still loads very slowly, especially on first visit (or after clearing browser cache). Any advice?

Hello,

When you clean browser's cache, images which are used in the slider are loaded again to client side. If your images have a big size, it can take a time.

Yes, I added the information about clearing cache/first visit so that it was clear that it is the first-time loading that is a problem. The images are only 125K each...is that too large?

We can recommend to use FireBug addon for FireFox browser and see how much time is required to load images on "Net" panel. It requires about several seconds for some images.
