Hi Ari team,

When I install the Ari quiz sh404sef plugin, I have urls lokking like this :

www.domainname.com/ARI-Quiz/name-of-quiz-2-33.html

Would it be possible to have instead :

www.domainname.com/choosen-keyword/name-of-quiz-2-33.html ?

From an SEO perspective, this would be much better, especially because we would be able to insert things like :

www.domainname.com/free-quiz-about-keyword/name-of-quiz-2-33.html or any other appropriate keyword.

Hello, You can change 'ARI-Quiz' keyword to necessary keyword in <joomla_dir>/components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext/ariquiz_helpers.php file. See line #17, please. Regards, ARI Soft

Thanks for the quick answer ! However, that's strange because I changed this to the keyword I was looking for, but it still displays ARI-quiz in the URL ! I changed it 2 hours ago and it's still the same. Are the urls stored in some cache or something ?

sh404SEF component stores cache of URLs. Purge cache and it should help. Regards, ARI Soft

The solution here worked perfectly, except for one thing :

The web page where I display my quizzes has an url like :
www.domainname.com/alias-of-the-menu/keyword-chosen (my problem is that my alias of the menu is the same as keyword chosen, so I have www.domainname.com/alias-of-menu/keyword-chosen where alias-of-the-menu = keywords-chosen

Do you have any idea on how to have an url with the kw one time ?

Hello,

You can try to do the following:

Open <joomla_dir>\components\com_sh404sef\sef_ext\ariquiz_helpers.php file on your server, find line #157 and comment the following code:

$this->title[] = !empty($title) && $title != '/'

  ? $title

  : $this->_getMessage('SEF_QUIZ_LIST');

After this purge SEF URLs.
