Hi, I'm upgrading from Lite version when I find the below errors message during installation:


Couldn't change permission for directory "./administrator/components/com_ariquiz/cache/files" permission "511".

Couldn't change permission for directory "./components/com_ariquiz/cache/files/css" permission "511".

Couldn't change permission for directory "./administrator/components/com_ariquiz/cache/files/hotspot" permission "511".

.. and 4 more.

Plus many 'Notice: Undefined variable: stepval in ./libraries/joomla/installer/installer.php on line 279'

Checked file permissions, all i set to 777. No core files are modified.

How do I fix this? ty

Is it possible to provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email that we can investigate this issue?

The solution provided, 'install from directory', worked ok for me.
