Java Script Broken In Your Component 13 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I'm working on a free project for charity organization. I downloaded ARI Lite component but i cant add questions. I think your JavaScript maybe be broken. Here is what I'm trying to do:

1. Go to "quizzes"
2. Add quiz
3. Click "View Questions"
4. Click "Add" (+)

5. Now on this screen:

NO MATTER what you do it just pops an Error: "Question Is Required", I've been trying to add categories, question templates, loading questions from templates, writing gibberish... Basically there is NOTHING i haven't tried. And it just keeps yakking' same Error: "Question Is Required".

Can you help me please?

Thank you.

Hello,

Try to change editor. For example change it to TinyMCE editor or plain text editor. Or you can use ARI Quiz because it can work with different WYSIWYG editors.

I wish... I'm a student, which is synonymous with a "bastard who is broke and owes money to everybody and their mother".

If your component tells difference between editors and forbids use of custom ones, you should make error report just that "Change editor to default Joomla one or go buy our commercial component", or something.

'Cause like honest person who doesn't want to bother people for nothing (especially for free components support), i did try everything humanly possible before... And at the point when i lost my nerves trying to write a custom submission script i just decided to ask for help.

My fault i guess, but you know how people are... Some other kid run into this problem will get pissed off and will write terrible reviews in extension directory.

I'll give that TinyMCE a try. T

Thanks.

ARI Quiz Lite is free extension and our developers is working on it in their spare time. This component provides basic quizzes functionality and we are testing it on standard Joomla! environment. We can't test it with all 3rd party extension. It works with standard Joomla! editors, if you want to use it with other editors, submit feature request here and we'll try to implement this feature in a future release.

Naah, its cool. You don't have to do extra work for me. I can switch editors when adding questions.

Thanks. Good luck with development.
