Hi. I am having endless problems. Not necessarily with the gallery but with a customer of a customer who wants everything done exactly how they want it.

Anyway, currently i have an article that displays several thumbnails based on the images in a certain folder. Then when you click on one of the thumbnails the lightbox opens up with that image and the same thumbnails that are displayed in the article. However, my customer wants just ONE thumbnail displayed in the article but still wants the thumbnails in the lightbox. It seems to make more sense this way but i have no idea how to do it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you want to show only one thumbnail in an article and when a user open the lightbox, s/he can navigate between original images in the lightbox?

Download and upgrade "ARI Pretty Photo" module and "System - ARI Pretty Photo Anywhere" plugin (if you use it). New version contains "Simple gallery -> Visible items count" parameter which helps to specify how many thumbnails will be shown. Other images will be available in the lightbox.

Use "visibleItemCount" attribute for {ariprettyphoto} tag.
