TOPIC: Location of arithumb files

Hi

I use Photo Gallery, Image Slideshow and Sexy Lightbox, on the web site that I manage, and am very pleased with the results.

However, yesterday I noticed that all the thumbnails (arithumb_....jpg) are being creaated directly under the Joomla image folder.

This doesn't really seem to be a problem, but I would prefer it if they were created under a specific designated folder, thus keeping them separate from all other image files, etc. as I thought was previously the case (under cache?)

Assuming that you've made this change for a specific reason, and its just not a bug that's crept in, what would happen if I created a folder for the thumbnails and specified it in the module and plug-ins parameters?

1. Would thumbnails be created automatically if not present?
2. To what base would the directory name have to be specified (\image?)?

Many thanks for your help.

Hello

We updated the extension to v. 1.5.6. It stores thumbnails to <joomla_directory>/images/ariphotogallery folder. Download the extension in "Member Area" on our site and update the module.

Many thanks. That fix works well so I can now exclude them from Akeeba!
