Hmm i have set in module manager image path images/ari
directory images is in the top of joomla
Description.ini
[DESCRIPTION]
sleen.jpg="sleen"
sleen3.jpg="sleen3"
[LINK]
sleen.jpg="images/ari/sleen.jpg"
sleen3.jpg="images/ari/sleen3.jpg"

No slider! even when i remove everything from [link]
The files in de directory are sleen.jpg and sleen3.jpg

Oh no, the site is just testing and i have it local on my mac I have
MAMP/htdocs/images/ari
In folder /ari there are 2 pictures sleen.jpg and sleen3.jpg.
I just installed joomspirit18 template
I even tried it on /htdocs/templates/joomspirit_18/images/ari

Thank you for this information. Very helpful! I just have one issue. I am not able to update the ini file with the updated link information. I receive an error "This file type is not supported." in the media manager.

Any help really appreciated.

If you want to upload INI files via Joomla! media manager, click by "Options" button on media manager page and add ini file extension to "Component -> Legal Extensions (File Types)" parameter.
