Hi,
I'm making my business site with Joomla 1.5 and tried all at a local installation. Everything, including the AriImageSlider is working well.

Now I have transported the site to my hoster. Everything is working well - but not the slider. It seems that slider shows up, but no picture is displayed. I already checked the path in the module-parameters. OK.

After displaying the error-list of my firefox-browser there are several lines displayed (see attached picture).

When you look at the homepage you can see, what is displayed. The black part at the bottom is not normal. The green arrows appear as they should.

My page can be looked at: www.kaeflein-coaching.de

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Thomas

Hello,

The slider doesn't contain images, it seems you use an incorrect value for "Image path" parameter.

Hello,
the slider-directory does contain images ... BUT I was so stupid: In the configuration of the module I named the directory 'images/slider'. At my local system under Windows names aren't case-sensitive. The directorys name is 'Slider' with an upper 'S'. At the host the system surely runs under Unix/Linux and there an 's' ist different than an 'S'. So I changed the name in the configuration to 'images/Slider' and - what a surprise: IT WORKS!!!!! Yeah.

Thanks a lot. Your idea helped me to find the real error. I guess this will never happen to me again. I will alwalys think on that difference in systems. Sometimes you look at a specific thing in the deep and don't see the obvious.

Maybe you want to take another look at the now WORKING slider. I hope, you like it.

By the way: great slider. I like it very much.
Best wishes and thanks again.
Tom
