Excessive errors being logged in Joomla 5 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
I have been using the ARI Ext Menu module for some time now, as it gave my web site just the appearance I needed.

But this morning, the web hosting Company I use has threatened to stop my hosting, as there is a constantly growing error log file which is currently over 90GBytes in size!

When I look at the log file, it is full of "ARI" references of different types, so looking at a small sample below, can you please help me track down the possible cause of these PHP errors? My current PHP version is 7.2.12
In joomla, I have the server error logging set to "default".
If I change this to "None", the logging stops, as expected, but isn't this just hiding the problem?

Sample of log file:

Hello,

We will update code in a future version of the module and do it fully compatible with PHP 7.2.x. Currently is the solution to disable notice and deprecated warnings.

Regards,
ARI Soft

I have the same - being forced to upgrade PHP by hosting company.

I can suppress the errors, but the menu isn't shown at all. Please help

- Update, something must have refreshed, as the menu IS now visible and functional.
