Hi,
I've experienced some slightly odd behavior in joomla 1.6 and I was wondering whether anybody else had.

issue
when using the default menu module which comes with joomla 1.6, I made a menu item (lets call it 'A') which was viewable to a particular user group (call it 'testers'), itself a child of the 'registered' user group. There were also other menu items visible to the 'registered' user group (B,C and D). This worked in that I could see everything when logged in as the 'testers' user or as the admin. When logged in as a plain registered user, I could only see B,C and D.

I installed ari ext module and made a new menu. I told it to display the same menu as the default joomla menu, both at the top of the page. The weird thing is that, as admin or 'testers' I can only now see B,C and D. It's as if the menu thinks that I don't have viewing rights to the page even though I'm admin.

Any thoughts? I can add screenshots if I've described it really badly.

Hello,

Currently the module doesn't support specific user group permissions for menu items. This ability will be added in a future release.
