Unique Id or...? 13 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I now have 3 instances of ariextmenu.
One is public and works fine until I log in...then the arrows and submenus are not there.

The other 2 are for registered and special users. They work fine.
Changes that I have made to the public menu...seem to affect more the other 2 than they do the public menu.

I am thinking your unique id could be used...but dont really know.
An example would be great.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Each container of menu instance has unique ID. It looks like:

ariextmenu_ariext[MODULE_ID]

Where [MODULE_ID] is ID of module. For example, if module ID is 67, ID of menu contains will be:

ariextmenu_ariext67

I am still stuck...
Possibly you could take a look.
Once logged in...you will see the submenus and arrow disappear...

Your kind help is greatly appreciated.

Try to set "Assets loading method" parameter to "Joomla! API" for all module instances.

Perfect!

Everything works well now...altho if I havent worn out my welcome...
Moving from the parent menu to the submenu...well if you dont move really quick...it collapses.
Only on one of the menus that is "special"... anyway to slow it down so users can get to the submenu 100% of the time?

Thanks,
Dismas
