Hi Whenn i use the {$readmore_link} tag within the template i got instead of the "read more link" the following: /1_joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53&catid=1 is this a bug?

Hello,

Not, it's correct. {$readmore_link} predefined variable contains only link to article, not HTML code. This approach helps to use this link with custom buttons or widgets. If you wish to create simple "Read more link", use the following code:
