Slide content is not showing for me.
The system plugin is active.

Under Articles, I selected my category and specified the article numbers.
I put {$fulltext} in the template tag.

I just get a blank area, nothing shows up except a bullet?

Obviously something is going wrong, but I'm not sure what to even check.

I just want to fade the full text of articles.
