IE Issues resolved 12 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
I've gone through the forum trying to determine if the IExplorer issue has been resolved in a manner that does not require the end-user to do something to MAKE it work.
I haven't been able to find a definitive answer and need one desperately!

To view my issue live please visit this link.

The syntax I'm using is:
Code:

{aridoc engine="google" width="720" height="575"}images/stories/documents/aboutus/strategic-plan/Economic-Issue-Area-1-Final-Handout-Revised.ppt{/aridoc}

Below is what the end-user sees:

The above image is from an IE9 instance

I sincerely would appreciate your assistance in rectifying this issue as quickly as possible.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

It works fine in IE on our side. You can try the solution from this post.

Which version of IE are you viewing it in and are there specific version limitations?

Additionally, I read the post you referred to before I posted my issue but was unable to find the solution you refer to.
A.) I'm using the Google viewer
B.) The post asks the end-user to DO something. That implies that the end user will know HOW to do it or that I provide explicit instructions. This is not a fair option to my audience.

It works in IE 9 if use the solution from our previous post. It requires additional configuration because of the plugin uses "Google Docs Viewer" service and IE security policy requires to add it to "Trusted sites". Some information can be found here.

Hi, I have a work around.
In IE it uses zoho anywhere else it's using google

Code:

<!-- LET OP, dit is een keuze menu
Het bepaalt welke browser kijkt en
beslist dan welk programma geladen wordt -->

<!--[if IE]>
{aridoc engine="zoho" width=100% height="650"}images/pdf-bestanden/lucas/lucaskatern020711.pdf{/aridoc}
<![endif]-->
<![if !IE]>
{aridoc engine="google" width=100% height="650"}images/pdf-bestanden/lucas/lucaskatern020711.pdf{/aridoc}
<![endif]>
