TOPIC: Column Link to external website

Re:Column Link to external website 13 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi

The first column, country name, I want to sort so I have set it to string and ascending. However, when I add the weblink 2nd column, even when this latter column is set to none and none as per your attached image, the end result is a Table where the 1st column (countries) is not sortable, and the second (weblinks) is sortable. When I delete the second column from the settings altogether, so that just the first is there, the result is a table where both columns are sortable. Rather weird.

Hope the above makes sense.

Regards
Andrew

Could you provide screenshot of module settings page or temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email that we can investigate this issue?

Hi

I'll try to make further contact in the next few days, just rather busy at the moment and my website is a hobby, so the day job keeps me busy unfortunately. Appreciate your help.

Another quick question -

When using any of the charts, I notice the chart title I insert is fine when viewed on my PC and laptop in terms of font style (arial or whatever the default is), however, when viewed on other PC's and laptops, the font style seems to change.

I can see that one can set the font size in the module at the backend, but is there someway to ensure that the font style is consistent regardless of what machine or what browser is being used?

Regards
Andrew

Hello,

It is strange because the module uses the same font size for all machine. Could we see problem somewhere?

Hi

Attached, a Word doc with 2 PrtScs - the first showing a much larger font size on one laptop and the other a smaller font size on another laptop. I have also noticed a different font style on yet another PC,a more freestyle script, letters all joined as if handwritten.

Andrew

Hi

Regarding my earlier query - not being able to "switch" off sorting for some columns - attached a file with PrtScn of the backend showing the settings. Only have one column included but all are sortable, if I add others, sorting of the first column is impossible.

Andrew
