Relationship between my sql query and paging? 13 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I'm afraid I'm blocked. I have a module defined for mod_aridatatables. I configure it. I set the sql query that returns the table. If I don't set a limit in the query I get the whole table back. If I do set a limit I get back the first N, but the paging/sorting doesn't work.

Is there anything I need to do special in my sql query to enable paging and sorting?

I've tried the ARI Data Table, ARI Table Sorter and ARI Tiny Table with no luck yet.

I have been making progress - I think that the problem was that I entered incorrect values in the columns setting sorting table. Things are working better but not perfectly. Now when I select ARI Data Table I get the double header and footers to the table as shown in the attached jpeg. Note that one pair of them is correct and functional and the other isn't. Any ideas?

Also, the initial display only has 10 items in it even though I set the field Number of Rows to Display to 20.

Anyway, as I said I'm making progress so that's good

It was a problem with site template, it contains the following code twice:

<jdoc:include type="head" />

It's incorrect.
