It seems like the ARI Data Tables do not convert to a responsive view.

page: genetics.rutgers.edu/research/grants

When you view as responsive
- the table does not stack
- the table goes 'off the page'

What can be done to make these tables responsive / useable on a cell phone?

Here is an example of what we did with 'regular html tables' to make them 'responsive'

Any ideas?

Hello,

Sorry, but "ARI Data Tables" doesn't support responsive mode. It is supported by DataTable add-on from "ARI Smart Content" package.

But when I go to the link: smart.ari-soft.com/joomla-datatable.html

This example the table at least 'condenses' for a mobile format. Where the version that is displayed on my site, does not even 'attempt' to condense.

The extension adds collapse/expand buttons (+/-) to show some columns when they doesn't fit screen size. See the screenshot below:

It seems you use "ARI Data Tables" module, not "ARI Smart Content".
