how to build a 'search' page 6 Years ago Karma: 0
Good morning,

I would like to build a page like this using ari data tables that I've just bought:

a page with only 'search' part where the user can write a neme (or a beginning of a name);

after that another page (or the same ) where to list all the occurrences in a jommla table with that name written prevoiusly.

Could you help me please?

PS I'm not a developer

Hello,

Set "Choose table type" parameter to "ARI Data Table" in module settings and enable "Choose table type -> ARI Data Table -> Show search input" parameter.

thanks a lot for your help.

I would like to do something different:

1) user can see the search part only and no rows (see page1.png)

2) after digiting something in search field all the rows select are visible

The extension doesn't work in this way. The possible solution, you can create a new page with HTML search form and send data from it to a page with "ARI Data Tables" module. The similar solution is described here.
