If you want to disable sorting for specific column then open data source settings page, find "Columns settings" section and enter column name or zero-based column index in "Columns settings -> ID" parameter and set "Columns settings -> Sortable" parameter to "No".

Yes, but due to the fact that it is not possible to sort the column with the date - it is not possible to resort the whole table. So it makes sense to avoid any change in the sort to make sure that the sort order will remain unchanged.

We updated the component to v. .2.2.40. It sorts correctly "dd mm YYYY" dates with . or - or / delimiters when "Columns settings -> Type" parameter is set to dd/mm/YYYY
