As we wrote in our previous message, it redirect to home page when we use the provided credentials (login before open the page) and home page doesn't contain any table, only charts and the following error message is shown:

You are not authorised to view this resource.

Try to login behalf on "ari-support" user and you will see the problem.

Very Sorry, my mistake.

I created this account on Sunday when the page was still in development and hence was only accessible as a developer. So, this account was setup with Developer access. Yesterday this page went live under a different access group, so I just added that group to your test account.

Please try now.

Plus, when you load the page there is no data pulled. You first have to select some filters to pull data. Just do this,

Engine Manufacturer = Pratt & Whitney
Simulator Type = Full Flight Simulator

Then hit the blue SEARCH button at the bottom. Then the page will load some data using ARI DataTables.

Thanks.

Ken

Again, there are 2 problems, as follows,

1) table column width settings are having no effect,
2) export buttons (for CSV, excel, etc.) are not being displayed when the option is set to YES.

See the attached screen grab showing settings,

Your site will not allow me to attach the grab showing the full module settings. It says its too big! Why? I will try emailing the grab.

A javascript error occurs on the page. This error is not related to "ARI Data Tables" extension, but it prevents execution of "ARI Data Tables" scripts:

Thank you. I found the culprit causing the error and disabled for now. I will deal with that separately with the extension maker.

Now, the export buttons display fine on the page. However, getting the table to align correctly is very difficult.

What I do not understand is why I cannot simply say that for columns 1, 8 and 10 I want 50% less space allocated? And then that is done only for those 3 columns. I want this because those are the only columns consuming too much space on the page.

The auto width does not appear to consider text wrapping properly. For example, if any single column wraps text to say 2-lines then ALL columns should allow text wrapping to 2-lines. I am finding that a narrow column is wrapping while the wider columns are not. Why?

It seems that for any column settings to work the CSS style must be set to,

TABLE.dataTable {table-layout:fixed;}

which messes up all other columns, forcing me to specifically set a width for every column on the page.

Is there another way to do this?

Ken
