TOPIC: Can't get "Save State" feature to work

Can't get "Save State" feature to work 11 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,
I'm using ARI Data tables, and I have a single table loading in a page. I have the module for the table set with the following options:
Save State: YES
Duration of cookie: 7200 <-- default value
Table Type: ARI Data Table

When I visit the page, the table loads with all of the data. I change the size of the page, the filter, or sort. I click link to reload the same page, and it returns to default view when the page reloads, instead of keeping my settings (size, filter, sort). Is there a step I'm missing to get this to work?

When testing, I was watching my cookies folder, and nothing was being written there either, so I'm assuming that's the real issue, but not sure what else to try.

I tested on IE v9 and Firefox v14.0.1

Thanks in advance,
Jason

Hello,

Download and upgrade "ARI Data Tables" module. After this set "Fixed ID" parameter to "Yes".

Thanks! That worked!
One follow up question: That works great for a single table on a page. On some pages, I have multiple ari-data tables (modules) loaded. This seems to break that functionality for some reason.
Scenario on page:
Table 1
Table 2

Sort Table 1, then refresh- Result: Table 1 stays sorted.
Refresh again- Result: Table 1 goes back to default view.

Sort Table 2, then refresh- Result: Table 2 goes back to default view.

If I remove either table from the page, and only keep one table, it all works perfectly.

Is there a step I'm missing on getting multi table on single page to work?

Thanks again for your help!
Jason

EDIT: This may be some kind of caching issue. I tried it on another machine and some of the multi table pages worked, and some didn't. Still testing it out. Thanks.

If the problem still appears could you provide a link to a page where we can see it?

Update on issue:
My issue appears to only happen on my Macbook under Firefox. On my mac under Safari it works fine and under windows, IE and Firefox is working fine. Could be just my mac configuration.

Thanks again for the support! Awesome product!
