IE9 Odd Shifting Slow Load Time with Img Question 12 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
We have noticed that the ARI Data Tables module shifts a lot and loads slowly with a lot of data and images in Internet Explorer 9, while it runs super fast in Chrome/Firefox/Safari. We were wondering if there was anything that you knew of to speed this up.

Is it slow because it is calculating the auto width of the table for the columns? Is there a way that we can statically set the table widths to speed this up if that is the case?

Here's a page that loads pretty slow in IE9.
208.108.123.61/fv/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42&Itemid=168&Building=&Position=

Once the page loads click on the gold "Master Directory" link to reload it and see the shifting etc. Let us know if you have any idea that might help thanks!

*Note we have already turned on pagenation and put it at 50 and the speed is no different.

Hello,

Problem with loading can occur if a large amount of data is loaded into a table. It occurs because currently the extension doesn't support server-side paging.

Is there a time frame for this? I thought I saw a post saying March of this year. Really need it, slow load on almost 2000 rows of scientific data, expecting possibly more than 6x's that.

Thanks
Tom
