TOPIC: Smooth transitions

Is there a way in ARICloud Carousel to smooth the transitions -- that is, having the carousel turn at a readable rate without pausing between images in auto-rotate?
Thanks.

Hello,

ARI Cloud Carousel is based on Cloud Carousel jQuery plugin and this plugin doesn't provide this ability.

So, to be clear, one would have to get the author of Cloud Carousel to implement this feature and the one I'd like to have... smooth ease-in to the rotation, instead of snap start, yes? And if so, then you would have to replace his current 1.0.4 version of jquery.cloud-carousel.js with his new one in your mod-aricloudcarousel/js folder, yes?

Sure would be nice to have the same smooth, slow start of the rotation as he has for the smooth slow to a stop!

Here's a way to get ARI CC to rotate at a near-constant speed...

Set Auto Rotate Delay to 2000
Set Speed to 0.001

The only caveat is that you need to have 10 - 18 images in your carousel and size the module so that the front images have a small gap between them. Too few images and a large gap causes the rotation to be to0 quick and snappy.

I tried this on a 17-image, 800 x 600 carousel with 150 pixel square thumbs and got a nice smooth constant-speed rotation.
