Automatically Open Lightbox on webpage 13 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,
Please can you tell me is there a way to open ARI Sexy Lightbox automatically on a webpage when a broswer navigates to it and publish an RSForm in the light box?

We want to create a form using the joomla component RSForm.

When a new user navigates to the homepage of our site we want ARI Sexy Light box to automatically open after the homepage has loaded and ask a few questions.
Once the User has answered the questions they are directed to the next page. OR they can just close the light box.

Regards,
Sean R.

Hello,

You can create new instance of 'ARI Sexy Lightbox' module and assign it with 'Homepage', after this set 'Open on load' to 'Only once' or 'Yes' value that open lightbox when homepage is loaded. After this create form in RSForm component, install 'RSForm! Content Plugin' that have possibility to load forms into an article, create new article and add the following code:

Code:

{mosforme FORM_ID}

where FORM_ID is ID of necessary form. Choose 'Remote content' type in 'ARI Sexy Lightbox' settings and enter the next value for 'URL' parameter:

index.php?option=com_content&view=article&tmpl=component&id=ARTICLE_ID

where ARTICLE_ID is ID of article which were created before. After this the module with form should appear when homepage is loaded.

PS: If you have any difficulties with it, you can provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend and we'll help to configure extensions.

Regards,
ARI Soft
