Hi, I have this partially working it seems. All Images with no links open, which is fine. I have Vimeo links opening ok. However, I've been trying to get a gallery from a folder (in an article) and it just shows the code I put in and no images. Any ideas.

I just tried it again, guessing I didn't paste text before as I now just get nothing.

{arisexylightbox activeType="imglist" dir="images/"}{/arisexylightbox}

is what I put in the article, is that the wrong way to do it?
Forgive me if I struggle a little, I'm new to Joomla.

Try to use the next code:

And check that <joomla_directory>/images/ folder contains image(s). If it doesn't help, could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate an issue?

I don't have ftp at the moment to check folders but I will in a couple of hours and will report back, I am pretty sure there are images in there though.
