Categories

Categories are the way to split books by category. On frontend books will be shown divided by categories. It is possible to show books from the selected category on frontend. Each book should belong to a category. The extension creates "Uncategories" category which is used as default category. The default category can not be deleted.

Open "Components → ARI Smart Book → Categories" page on Joomla! backend to manage categories.

On this page administrator can

1. Add a new category by clicking "New" button.

2. Delete categories by selecting checkbox at left of appropriate categories and clicking "Delete" button.

3. Edit category by clicking category name or by selecting checkbox at left of appropriate category and clicking "Edit" button.

4. Change categories ordering.

5. Rebuild categories tree by clicking "Rebuild" button.
