It seems background color of "Shop" menu item looks fine and it doesn't affect on sub-menu items. About specific CSS rule for main menu items, you can use the next CSS selector "#ariyui98_menu LI.yuimenuitem-level-0>A"

Hi,

I have no issue with the background colour on that link. What I want to do is change the LINK COLOURS on the same link, but only that link.

I tried the following but this doesn't work:
