I have a question regarding the linking of the domain name to my license which I'd like answered before I d/l.

My site is still very much in beta mode at the moment as I build it up, as I already have an existing site online using different software to Joomla.

So...should I use my actual final domain name to generate the license key, or should I use the temporary domain that Joomla uses while I'm still in build mode?

Thanks for your interest.

If you are going to use our extensions on your testing site first then you should generate temporary license key for it. When you are ready to go production you should generate full license key got your existing online site.

This approach let customers to use the extension while they build their sites and then continue with production domain without any changes (just changing license key to full one).

and when generating the temporary license key should I use the full url of my existing site (http://www.rc-mini.net) or the temporary url of my joomla beta site? (http://rcmini.nfshost.com/joomla/)

When generating temporary license key you should use the domain name where you are going to test the component. It means if you are going to use it first on temporary beta site then generte temporary license for this domain (rcmini.nfshost.com).

When you are ready to go production with your existing site you should generate full license for it (rc-mini.net).

OOOPS this is for Ari Quiz but I believe license policy is the same !!!

I have generated production license key !!! First the domaine provided by your tool is vo2cycling without the extension .fr . Is it a problem ?

It seems this license is only for one year ??? True ?

After installation, status key is " vo2cycling 2009-nov-12 Not Expired" but I have message Please specify license key before using the component

We have removed incorrect license. Could you pleas ego to member area and generate the license for vo2cycling.fr.

Here is the extract from our F.A.Q.:
"Full license key means that you will receive free updates for the product for a year after purchase. After a year the product will continue working but you will not receive any updates. If you wish to prolong the license this costs half of product price/year.
Licenses work for one domain only."
