How to speed up resolution 6 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi Admin

I always feel "ARI produce good products". On the Image Slider, 2 questions i had meant to ask for a long time to better understand your product

I notice that the slider is the LAST to resolve in a web page ie it appears as a large block of black before the images begin to slide. What can i do to shorten this? There is a setting in "Advanced' where i set to OnLoad, what happens if i switch to DOM?

When i select "Navigation preview thumbnails" to Yes, the ais_## files will appear in mages folder. I try to try to say ariTN (same level as images) by placing ariTN in the Thumbnails path, it still land up in images. How to solve this?

Thank you first.

Hello,

Use "DOM Ready" value for "Load Method" parameter to increase speed of loading. "On Load" value is used only if a conflict with 3rd party extensions occurs to try resolve it.

Check that you use the latest version of the module (v. 2.2.4). It saves thumbnails to <joomla_directory>/images/ariimageslider folder (or to <joomla_directory>/images folder if "ariiimageslider" sub-folder doesn't exist).

Regards,
ARI Soft
