ooooooohhh ... it has to do with that I was trying to make it IE7 and 8 backward compatible at my client's request! Which I remember I didn't quite accomplish that!!

Hey, sorry to revive this topic again.

as you know that I did the overlapping banner in order to make a cool looking background changing effect

it has been working flawlessly with your help, big thanks! So, I am still trying to make it backward compatitible with IE8 or IE7; when I load the page on IE8, I found out, only the back ground banner change (i.e., changing background color), but the front banner stay the same ... is there anyway I can make it work in IE8? if not, what should I do to make only the front banner change instead of the background, so that people can still scroll through and to get information

The sliders work fine in IE 8 for us. We checked it in IE v. 8.0.7601.17614
