Where is the upgrade procedure to update from 2.7.4 to 2.8.0?

I have unzip the .zip file in my joomla root, but it did not ask me to overwrite stuff Now my Joomla folder is full of AriQuiz stuf... this is bad...

Hello,

Read F.A.Q. on the component backend, please. It contains instructions how to update the component. In brief, uninistall previous version and install new through standard Joomla! installation page. All quizzes data remain untouched.

I have a site where the previous admin updated many of the css files and internal php files to get a custom look. Is there a list of critical files I can upgrade to improve performance? If I do a clean install it destroys the GUI interface that was created for the site.

To dynamicw: It seems that you mean "ARI Quiz Lite", but "ARI Quiz" and "ARI Quiz Lite" are two different components and we didn't do any updates for "ARI Quiz Lite" for improving performance.
