Order by category when fetching questions 14 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I have 5 categories with around 40 questions in the bank for each one.

The test will have 75 questions and i want the component to sort 15 questions from each category, but displaying questions following a category order (not mixing questions from different categories when passing to the next question).

Is that possible?

Hello,

You can use for this purpose 'Question Catetories'. For example, create 5 question categories for this quiz and set 'Question Count' to 15, populate quiz with bank questions and select needed questions categories for questions, uncheck 'Random Question' option in quiz settings.

I did this but i think it is not working.

The test will have 75 questions. This is configured in quiz settings and then i add the questions to the quiz (from bank). If the number of questions added to the quiz is exact 75, it follows the order. If i add another one (76), it starts to display the questions in random order, even if the Random Order setting in quiz is set to false.

Any ideas?

I updated to version 2.7.3 and it is working. I was using version 2.7.0 before.
