Hi,

I've installed your module on Joomla 1.7.5 and it is very easy to install and to make it work. Congratulations.

Meanwhile, i have several images to display in the module, but they have different sizes. Some are landscape and others are portrait. From what i saw, your module scales all the images to fit the size of the module.
Is this correct?

is there a way to configure the module for a maximum width and display the pictures without being distorced?

Thanks in advance,

Joao

Hello,

The extension save images scale and fit them to module width which is specified in module settings.

I'm having a similar issue, and your recommendation doesn't seem to help.

I have a slideshow with mixed image sizes and proportions. My photos are scaled so that they're never more than 600 pixels wide and never more than 450 pixels high.

However, if I set the Image Slider module sizes as you recommend, the module treats it as the MINIMUM size for each dimension. My vertical images (which have actual resolution of only about 300 pixels in width) get rescaled to 600 pixels wide, and the horizontal to nearly 900 pixels.

Is there any way to get the module to treat these numbers as a MAXIMUM size for each dimension. That's how virtually every other graphics package I've ever used works...

The extension is based on NivoSlider jQuery plugin and it doesn't work in way which you described.
