I didn't buy Flip Book yet, because it looks like from your description that I can only display articles from Joomla categories in a Flip Book.
But one of my customers has this "brilliant" idea to display JomSocial users profiles in a Flip Book style.
I do not see this option in module or plugin parameters on your demo backend pictures on this site.
Is it possible to choose JomSocial users' profiles instead of regular Joomla content articles for your component?

I mean to integrate ARI Flip Book using probably this doc help information from JomSocial itself:

Could you specify how it should work? Is administrator specify ID of users whose profiles should be shown into flip book or what criteria should be used that select necessary profiles?

That's the point, that he wants ALL users profiles to be in a book.
And later even to have 2 different books according to users gender.
All I know that I don't have enough knowledge to implement it right now.
