I guess I need you to confirm that I can use the ARI Smart Content along side with ARI Data Tables. If I can seemlessly transition but get the same capability as ARI Data Tables then I will go the Smart Content route. If not, I will get your ARI Easy Slider and use with ARI Data Tables.

It is possible to use "ARI Data Tables" module with "ARI Smart Content - Easy Slider". Conflict can occur only if use "ARI Data Tables" module and "ARI Smart Content - Data Table" module on the same page.

Ok, now I am really confused. Does that mean there is a difference between the "ARI Smart Content - Easy Slider" and the "ARI Easy Slider"? Why are they different? Are they not both yours? Why would the one packaged inside Smart Content need to be different at all?

What is Smart Content then, if it is not just a collection of the other useful extensions working together? What does it do differently then?

"ARI Smart Content" contains a lot of addons for different purpose (tables, sliders, lightboxes and etc.). It also provides ability to show data from different sources (databases, CSV files, Joomla! and K2 articles, Picasa and Flickr services and others). Add-ons from from "ARI Smart Content" don't work without "ARI Smart Content" component. "ARI Easy Slider" module and "ARI Smart Content - Easy Slider" addon are tow different extensions which provides similar functionality. If you need only the slider and don't need all other add-ons and features which are supported by "ARI Smart Content", you can buy "ARI Easy Slider" extension.

Thank you, and at this point I am only trying to determine which I should buy. I was leaning towards the Smart Content module but your last few replies has me doubting that choice.

I guess as long as you can assure me that ARI Data Tables will work fine with the ARI Smart Content - Easy Slider then I will go that way. I doubt I will ever have cause to combine ARI Data Tables and Smart Content - Data Tables on the same page.

Do you have customers already combining ARI Data Tables with Smart Content - Easy Slider? Does the Smart Content - Data Tables have all the same capability as ARI Data Tables, should I ever decide to simply move completely to Smart Content?

"ARI Smart Content - Data Table" supports all features for "ARI Data Tables -> ARI Data Table" widget plus additional features (for example it supports responsive mode and show content of some columns when "+" button is pressed).
