I have downloaded and installed ARI Data Tables for displaying race results in a nicer way than just plain HTML table.

I managed to get it to work for a short time before the sort on the ARI Data Table stopped sorting the results properly.
I can only get ARI TIny Table to work and this doesn't do it very well.

Any help to point me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.

Could you provide a link to a page where we can see the problem with "ARI Data Table" widget (when "Choose table type" parameter is set to "ARI Data Table")?

Just noticed that I hadn't selected Jquery Ui Themes. Now selected.

It seems this problem with javascript and CSS files optimizer extension which is used on your site. It doesn't load jQuery library. Try to set "Load jQuery method" parameter to "Local copy" in module settings and clean Joomla! cache. If it doesn't help, could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem more deeply?

I found a setting for Jquery on the Template settings that was not selected.

Data Tables now looking so much better ( sorry about that )

But now have more questions.

In the results page the following columns sort in ascending / descending order by clicking the heading

Place, Name, bib No.,Gender Place,Gender,Category Place, Category, Swim TIme, T1 Time,Bike Time, T2 Time and Club. These all work perfectly.

Swim Time, T1 Time, Bike Time, T2 Time, Run TIme, Chip Time are not sorting into ascending or descending order very well.

Also is there any way of fine tuning the search function ? ( i.e. when searching M (male) only we are getting F (female) results as well)
