Hi,
I use data tables at one of my webpages!
It runs on Joomla 3.3.1

On smarthphones the page is displayed perfectly, except the tables!
E.g. lesbian-world.de/lesben-locations/locations-deutschland/lesben-locations-muenchen.html

Is it possible the switch to responsive tables?
Or do I've to create a CSS solution?

Anybody out there can help me?

Hello,

Set "Auto width" parameter to "No" and add the following code to "CSS Styles" parameter:

TABLE.dataTable {table-layout:fixed;}

Hello and thanks for your response!

It worlks only partially!

the remaining columns (after display width on my iPhone 5S) are above each other in a extra column

The problem occurs because the fixed width is defined for the first two columns (see "Columns settings -> Width" parameter) and these widths takes all available space on mobile device with not high screen resolution. You can leave "Columns settings -> Width" parameter empty.

Thank you very for you response and tip for the column settings.
But now it looks pretty unsightly! High columns with unreadable content.

Is there any possibility to do it like
css-tricks.com/examples/ResponsiveTables/responsive.php

Does Ari Soft offers another tool for a approbate solution?
