I've changed 4 to 2 and that solved the problem. Thanks for that (and the quick response). I'm trying to understand the working of the index-number but I don't see why I had to change it from 4 to 2. I thought the fourth (invisable) column had to be sorted. The second column contains the names of the persons. Is it possible to try to explain it? Thanks anyway.

Columns index is zero-based. It means that first column has "0" index. About hidden column, it is not possible to sort data by hidden column on frontend. Regards, ARI Soft
