"ARI Smart Content - HTML Table" module shows HTML tables in module positions. The module can be enabled/disabled and configured on "Extensions → Module Manager" page on Joomla! backend. The module offers the following parameters:
- Data source is a main and required parameter. It is used to select the data source which will be used to populate the table with data. It is possible to select data sources from Database data section.
- Use constant ID if the parameter is set to 'Yes', table container will have the constant ID based on module ID. It can be useful for caching or other purposes.
- Module Class Suffix will be applied to the CSS class of the module. This allows for individual module styling.
- Caption is used to specify caption of the table.
- Advanced styling if the parameter is enabled then unique CSS classes will be added to each cell and row in the table. Rows will have ari-tbl-row-ROWINDEX class name. Where ROWINDEX is zero-based row index. It means the first row will have ari-tbl-row-0 class name, the seconds row will have ari-tbl-row-1 class name and etc. Cells will have ari-tbl-col-COLINDEX class name. Where COLINDEX is zero-based cell index. It means the first column will have ari-tbl-col-0 class name, the seconds column will have ari-tbl-col-1 class name and etc.
- Show header is used to show/hide table header.
- Show footer is used to show/hide table footer.
- Width is table width. Possible values: auto, 100%, 350px and etc.
- Cell padding is used to specify cell padding. Possible values: 0, 1, 5, 12 and etc.
- Cell spacing is used to specify cell spacing. Possible values: 0, 1, 5, 12 and etc.
- Border is used to specify border width. Possible values: 0, 1, 7 and etc.
- Border collapse property sets whether the table borders are collapsed into a single border or detached as in standard HTML.
- Table CSS class is used to add custom CSS class(es) to the table. Can be used in custom CSS rules to customize table styles.
- Rows CSS classes is used to specify rows CSS classes, CSS classes for different separate by semicolons. These CSS classes will be applied to rows in cyclic order. For example if you want to add row_odd class for each odd rows and row_even class for each even rows, use row_odd;row_even value.
- CSS Styles is used to specify additional CSS styles. It is possible to use {$id} predefined variable which will be replaced with ID of the table. For example the following code can be used to set background to red color for all columns in the table:
