The module doesn't support ability to show empty table by default.

It is possible to enter default search string with help of "ARI Data Table -> Default search string" parameter.

I donґt find the entry point in the settings. There is no "Default search string"-field.
The field "filters" isnґt IMHO the correct field.
Iґm using the newst version of ARI Data Tables.
Please, can you send me a screenshot of the the entry point?

thx for the information. In my settings there is no such field. It seems that I have not version 1.6.4 (although downloading ARI Data Tables about 10 days ago). Now I have two questions: 1) How can I find out my actual version? 2) If I have not version 1.6.4: can I download version 1.6.4 and install in Joomla without doing anything else? Regards Jochen

We released v. 1.6.4 today. Download the extension in "Member Area" on our site and install new version of the module through standard Joomla! installation page over installed module. Regards, ARI Soft

After installing default search is possible.

My Observation:
Can it be that "<example>" in default-field isnґt possible ("<" and ">" is disturbing)?

Feature-request:
If you have a look on www.gym-anna-ehemalige.de/index.php/personenuebersicht, you see the search-field of Joomala (entry "Suchen..."). If clicking in this field "Suchen..." disapiers and you can enter the search-word. Is this also for ARI Data tables possible?

Download and upgrade module again please. After this it will be possible to use "<" and ">" symbols in "Default search string" parameter. Regards, ARI Soft
